Our Rainbow Fish tour is designed to meet students where they are—right inside their own schools. We bring a fully staged, 40–45 minute theatrical performance into gymnasiums, cafeterias, and auditoriums, transforming familiar spaces into something magical. After the performance, the experience doesn’t just end. Students stay engaged through an interactive workshop led by our cast, where they explore elements of storytelling, movement, music, and character. It’s not about sitting and watching—it’s about participating. We also build in moments for connection. Whether it’s a short talkback with the performers or something as simple as sharing ice cream together, we create space for students to ask questions, feel seen, and understand that the arts are something they can be part of. For many students, this is their first live theatre experience. Our goal is simple: make it memorable, make it welcoming, and make them want more.

Broadway Bound is our summer intensive built for students who want to step into the process and see what it actually takes to put on a show. Over the course of the program, students work alongside experienced directors, performers, and educators to rehearse a full production from start to finish. They learn lines, music, and choreography—but just as importantly, they learn how to work as a team, support each other, and show up prepared. This isn’t a classroom setting. It’s a rehearsal room. Students are expected to engage, take ownership, and grow throughout the process. At the end of the program, everything comes together in a fully staged performance for a live audience of family, friends, and community members. For many students, it’s their first time on stage. For others, it’s the moment things start to feel serious. We keep the program intentionally accessible, with scholarship opportunities available, because talent and interest should never be limited by financial barriers.

Our community performances are built with one goal in mind: make it easy for families to experience live theatre together. These are relaxed, welcoming events designed for audiences of all ages. Whether it’s a touring show like Rainbow Fish or another family-focused production, we keep the format simple and engaging—shorter run times, approachable content, and opportunities to interact with the cast. We often build the experience beyond the stage. That might include photo opportunities, talkbacks, or small add-ons like ice cream or themed activities that turn the event into something more than just a performance. We also keep pricing intentionally low, with many events operating as fundraisers where proceeds go directly back into expanding access to arts programming across the region. For some families, this is a fun afternoon out. For others, it’s their first introduction to live theatre. Either way, we want it to feel approachable, memorable, and worth coming back to.

Our workshops are where things really click. Instead of watching from a seat, students get up and participate. Depending on the program, that might mean learning basic stage movement, trying out vocal techniques, exploring rhythm and music, or even stepping into simple scene work. We design these sessions to be flexible and adaptable, whether they’re part of a school visit, a standalone program, or a follow-up to a live performance. The focus isn’t on perfection. It’s on exposure and confidence. We want students to feel comfortable trying something new, even if they’ve never considered themselves “a theatre kid.” These workshops are often the moment where interest turns into action. A student who was quiet during the performance suddenly wants to volunteer. Someone who didn’t think they could sing gives it a shot. That shift is the whole point.
